Little daisy
Little daisy standing in the middle of the meadow,
The sun comes up, so reach out and leave your shadow.
Although you’re feeling insignificant, and really small,
in this big meadow, where the whole world seems so tall.
Know that by your presence the meadow get’s its grace,
Through your presence, it turns into a lovely place!
Took this shot nearby the banks of river Maas, north of Roermond town. What I really like about daisies is that they don’t suffer a lot of winter. These ones I found only 2 days after the snow had gone, in the start of March.
I wrote the poem 2013-03-18. Hope you enjoy reading it!
